The India Building Information Modelling Association has developed the Organizational Maturity Assessment – BIM & Digital Initiatives to help organizations objectively evaluate their BIM and digital transformation capabilities.
As owners, consultants, contractors, specialist contractors, and asset operators continue to invest in digital technologies, understanding organizational maturity is essential for maximizing these investments. This evidence-based assessment enables organizations to benchmark their current capabilities, identify improvement opportunities, and develop a structured roadmap for digital transformation.

The assessment is designed for: Asset Owners, Government Organizations, Consultants, EPC & General Contractors, Specialist Contractors, Manufacturers & Suppliers, Facility Management Organizations and Asset Operators. Suitable for organizations of all sizes, from MSMEs to large enterprises.
What is Assessed?
The framework evaluates organizational maturity across three key areas:

Organizations are assessed across five maturity levels, from Level 0 (Initial) to Level 4 (Optimized), resulting in an overall BIM Maturity Index (BMI).
